Loulé: Bolo-rei of 150 m

As every year on Epiphany, the Câmara Municipal offered a huge traditional Christmas cake to the public.

Bolo-rei, also known as " bolo de reis" or "bolo de Natal", is a traditional Portuguese cake, eaten between December 25 and January 6 ("Dia des Reis" in Portugal). The cake with a length of 150 m and a weight of ca. 350 kg was presented on the Praça da República in the centre of Loulé and cut into slices and given to the public by volunteers.
