Albufeira: Marina
The marina was built in the west of the city at great technical effort. To create access from the sea, one of the natural rocky barriers had to be blown up. The marina is easily reached by car via the Av. dos Descobrimentos.

Pine Cliffs: Praia da Falésia
View from the so called "Devils Parlour", a Par 3 hole of the Pine Cliffs golf course, down to the colourful sandstone cliffs of Praia da Falésia. Pine Cliffs, located a few miles east of Albufeira, boasts to be the most complete golf and holiday resort not only in the Algarve, but in Portugal.

Western Algarve: Praia do Castelo
The beach is located west of Albufeira in one of the typical small sandy bays, protected on both sides by limestone rocks.

Salgados Golf
This golf course is uniquely located next to a protected lagoon landscape, the salt marshes of the Ria de Armação between Galé and Armação de Pêra, which is home to a huge variety of water bird species. On each of the 18 holes water comes into play, and the western wind increases the challenge.

Paragliding
The steep rocks of the coast of the western Algarve near Carvoeiro and the wind from the Atlantic offer great opportunities for extreme sports.

Portimão: Marina
Located on an inlet of the River Arade, the 620 moorings of Portimão Marina can accommodate vessels up to 30 m, with a maximum draught of 4 metres, providing a full range of services and facilities to assist sailors.

Lagos: Marina
The Lagos marina maintains the town’s maritime tradition. It was opened back in 1994 and the first of its kind in the Algarve. It has been awarded the Blue Flag, the FEE’s seal of quality.

The international race cicuit is situated in the hinterland of Mexilhoeira Grande in the municipality of Portimão.
